Delete your account & data

Option 1 — delete in the app

1. Open IELTS Assistant and go to the Profile tab.
2. Open Settings, then Account.
3. Tap Delete account and confirm. Your account is scheduled for deletion immediately.

Option 2 — request by email

Send an email from the address on your account to support@ieltsexamassistant.com with the subject “Delete my account”. We may ask one question to verify ownership, then process the deletion.

What is deleted

• Your profile (name, email, authentication identifiers).
• Your practice content: essays, voice recordings, answers, saved vocabulary, and notes.
• Your scores, progress history and analytics.
• Support correspondence linked to your account, unless an issue is still open.

What may be retained

• Transaction records required for tax, accounting and fraud-prevention purposes, kept for the period the law requires.
• Aggregated or anonymised statistics that can no longer identify you.
• Backups, which are purged on our normal rotation (within 30 days).

Timeline

Account access ends immediately. Personal data is deleted or anonymised across our systems and backups within 30 days.

Your subscription

Deleting your account does not cancel an active App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel it separately in your device’s store account settings to stop future charges. See the Refund Policy for details.
