Refund Policy
Last updated 2026-09-10. Purchases are processed by the app stores, so their refund rules apply first — here is how to request one.
Who processes payments
All in-app purchases — the Premium plan and one-off feedback credits — are sold and processed by Apple’s App Store or Google Play, depending on your device. We never receive your payment card details, and the store, not us, issues refunds.
Requesting a refund on the App Store (iOS)
- Go to reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple Account.
- Choose the IELTS Assistant purchase, select a reason, and submit the request.
- Apple reviews the request and notifies you of the outcome.
Requesting a refund on Google Play (Android)
- Open play.google.com/store/account → Order history, or use the Play Store app.
- Select the IELTS Assistant order and choose Request a refund or Report a problem. Refund requests within 48 hours of purchase are often handled automatically.
- For older purchases, submit the form and Google will review it.
Subscriptions
Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals but does not by itself refund the current period. Manage or cancel from your device’s store account settings before the renewal date. Partial-period refunds are at the store’s discretion and, in some regions, required by local consumer law.
Feedback credits
A feedback credit is consumed when a writing or speaking submission is processed and returned. Once feedback has been delivered, that credit is not refundable. If a submission fails for a technical reason and the credit is not automatically restored, contact us.
If something went wrong
If you were charged in error, feedback did not arrive, or the app malfunctioned during a purchase, email support@ieltsexamassistant.com (or visit ieltsexamassistant.com) with your store, the purchase date, and the transaction ID. We will investigate and, where a store refund is warranted, help you obtain one.
